Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, & scheduled maintenance on a variety of trucks.
• Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards & work orders.
• Work independently with minimal supervision during the afternoon shift.
• Uphold workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Australian trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic OR Diesel Mechanic (Cert III)
• 1 + years demonstrated Australian experience on relevant trucks, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes & Dennis Eagle vehicles.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work across a 5 day work week, potential rotating shifts.
• Reliable, self motivated, & able to work autonomously.
• HR or MC Licence is highly regarded but not essential.
• Ability to meet D&A screening as well as pass a pre employment medical.
